Job summary

Barge Design Solutions, Inc. is seeking a motivated civil engineering intern for Summer 2027 in Dothan, AL (also Columbus, GA and Panama City Beach, FL).

This paid, full‑time internship offers hands‑on experience, mentorship, and exposure to real world projects across our multi‑discipline practice. You’ll collaborate with engineers, assist in preparing construction documents, and use AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Major: Civil Engineering.
• Current GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• You must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with team members on new ideas/innovations.
• Supporting Engineers in completing project deliverables.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation.
• Preparation of construction documents.
