Job summary

Barge Design Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Roadway Intern to join our civil engineering team in Birmingham, Alabama. You will work under experienced mentors and gain hands-on experience supporting engineers, preparing construction documents, and contributing to design ideas using Civil 3D or MicroStation.

The role is a paid, full-time internship based in person. Applicants should be pursuing a Civil Engineering degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA and be at least 18 years old; sponsorship is not

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at an accredited university.
• Current GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
• Preference for students who do not require sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with team members on new ideas and innovations.
• Supporting Engineers in completing project deliverables.
• Assist with construction document preparation using Civil 3D or MicroStation.

Education

Civil Engineering degree

GPA 3.0 or higher
