Dashiell Corporation, an operating unit of Quanta Services, seeks a Civil Engineering Intern to join a project team and support design and engineering tasks. You will work under direct supervision to develop civil and structural drawings, perform basic analyses, and learn industry standards.
Responsibilities include assisting with wind load calculations, applying NESC/IEEE/ANSI/AISC/ACI standards, visiting job sites, and collaborating with engineers to deliver safe, reliable infrastructure

As a member of a project team, the Civil Engineering Intern will perform engineering and design duties, which require application of engineering principles. Assignments are closely supervised and designed to further develop employee’s job knowledge and abilities.
Employee may be called upon to perform any or all of the following functions:
Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university is required, a power focus is preferred. Prior internship and/or related work experience in the power field is preferred.
