Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking a Civil Engineering student to support our Site-Civil Engineers in our Toledo, OH office. The role begins with administrative tasks and research, then CAD drafting support for projects.

You will progress to site, stormwater, and grading design for capable candidates, with a strong emphasis on learning and teamwork. The Spring 2027 Co-op is full-time and onsite in Toledo or Columbus, with no remote or hybrid arrangements.

Qualifications

• College student pursuing a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited university.
• Basic AutoCAD experience; Civil 3D a plus.
• Strong desire to learn site development engineering design.
• Excellent written and oral communication; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• CAD support for civil design packages.
• Prepare and submit drawing packages.
• Assist in site layout, grading, stormwater utilities.
• Permit preparation and follow-up.
