Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Technical Intern / Civil Engineering Co-op/Intern in Cincinnati to gain exposure to civil design and environmental engineering projects. The start term is flexible, with office work including reports, drawings, and coordination across teams.

Strong organization and communication skills are valued, with preference for AutoCAD, GIS and programming. The ideal candidate is pursuing a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering and is interested in a long-term stay in our Cincinnati

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Civil, Environmental or related engineering field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Baseline knowledge of civil design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist civil design tasks including soil remediation, stormwater management, hydraulics and hydrologic evaluations, and prepare design reports, construction drawings and specs.
• Contribute to multiple assignments with strong organization, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Support land development tasks related to remediation system designs.
• Engage in data collection, QA/QC reviews, and report writing; assist with construction drawings.
• Aid design calculations for bulk earthwork, stormwater, hydraulics and pipe burial.
