Job summary

Fehr Graham is seeking a Branch Manager - Engineering (Civil) in Schaumburg, IL. You will lead the Schaumburg office, oversee operations, manage client relationships and guide projects from contract to completion.

You’ll work with Business Unit Leaders and senior leaders to translate strategy into action, mentor staff, and drive growth while ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years' experience in supervision, client relations, BD or project management.
• Professional engineering license preferred.
• Experience in the consulting industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations and support Schaumburg staff.
• Work with other managers and leaders to identify market and client opportunities and develop business development strategies.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and prospective clients, including key decision-makers.
• Manage projects from contract through completion, keeping scope, schedule, budget and invoicing on track.
• Prepare client contracts, statements of qualifications and fee proposals.
• Understand client needs and identify ways Fehr Graham can add value.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate resources to meet client needs.
• Monitor branch and project performance, including net revenue and profitability.
• Communicate technical and business issues clearly with clients and colleagues.
• Represent Fehr Graham at client meetings and industry events.
• Recruit, coach, mentor and develop staff.
