Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT) is hiring a Civil Engineer – Water/Wastewater Engineering to collaborate in the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure solutions for water, wastewater, and reclaimed water projects. As a Project Engineer in our Water and Wastewater Engineering Team, you will prepare engineering design files, specifications, cost estimates, models, and reports for water/sewer projects. We seek someone ready for the next step in their career and eager to be a key contributor.

This role provides opportunities to:

• Coordinate work across multiple engineering disciplines and subconsultants
• Assist with client relationship building and marketing efforts

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in planning, designing, and constructing water distribution and sewer collection systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field
• EIT certification required
• Experience in preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water/sewer pipeline projects for public agencies
• Experience with project permitting
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience with OpenRoads Designer is a plus
• Experience with water and/or sewer modeling is a plus
• Experience in designing pumping, treatment, and storage facilities is a plus
