Actalent, Inc. seeks a Civil Engineer in Milwaukee, WI, with a strong background in water resources, stormwater, and site design. You will plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of infrastructure and public space projects.

The position emphasizes stormwater modeling, grading, and drainage design with onsite work. A PE license in WI or IL is preferred, and you may train junior engineers as part of the team.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required and PE license preferred.
• 3–5 years in Water Resources/Drainage Engineering.
• Proficiency with stormwater, drainage design and grading plans.

Responsibilities

• Analyze reports, maps, and data for soil, terrain, hydrology.
• Prepare reports, plans, schedules and environmental studies.
• Conduct stormwater and drainage design with permitting.
• Visit sites to inspect construction and enforce designs.
• Use hydraulic/hydrology models to evaluate impacts.
• Design grading plans, detention sizing, and road drainage.
• Train and mentor junior engineers.
