The State of Indiana seeks a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Water Resources, Sanitary, or MEP. You will design small projects, administer design contracts, and perform field inspections within a professional engineering division to ensure high-quality execution. Qualifikationen

• Extensive knowledge of construction and engineering principles, practices, and techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to utilize CAD drafting skills in preparing designs.
• Be willing to travel with appropriate accommodation.

Aufgaben

• Execute, coordinate, and assist in the preparation of the project, design plans, specifications, and bidding documents.
• Review documents submitted by contractors for technical adequacy and compliance with project specifications, laws, rules, and regulations.
• Coordinate the work of architect-engineering companies, contractors, and utility companies as needed.
• Conduct site visits and inspections.
• Review and analyze proposed design changes during project execution.
• Provide technical engineering guidance on assigned projects.
• Develop and prepare project justification documents including cost estimates and BOMs.
• Maintain project books and files relating to authorization, design, progress, and costs.
• Prepare, review, and submit environmental documents and site survey reports.
