What You’ll Do as the Transportation Project Manager

You will oversee multiple IDOT phase I and Phase II projects across various offices while managing and tracking the project backlog.

• Manage client relationships, cultivating new business connections, and collaborating with the Business Development Team to identify IDOT PTB items to pursue.
• Managing current IDOT Phase I and II engineering projects as well as County and Municipal Transportation projects.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and alignment with business objectives.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

• Licensure : Professional Engineer (PE) License in the state of Illinois or ability to obtain
• Education : A Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering is preferred)
• Experience : 10+ years of experience working on IDOT roadway and bridge design projects, and managing / mentoring civil engineering staff
• Location : Rockford, IL- Hybrid schedule is available
• Software skills : Microsoft 365 and Adobe (AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred)
• Adaptability : excel at adapting to changing project requirements.
