Job summary

Choice One Engineering is seeking a civil engineer to lead transportation plan production for local municipalities and the Ohio Department of Transportation using AutoCAD Civil 3D. The role involves client interaction, budgeting, scheduling, and preparing bids.

Candidates should have a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a PE license (or in process), with 1–15 years of transportation design experience and a proactive, deadline-driven mindset.

• Prepare quantities and construction cost estimates for bidding.
• Collaborate with technical staff to provide transportation design and consulting services for local municipalities and ODOT.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• 1-15 years experience in transportation design (e.g. roadways, public utilities, traffic, etc.)
• Very responsive and a strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines
• Continuous learning mindset
• Working proficiency of AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
