Stillpoint AEC is partnering with a growing civil engineering consulting firm in the Phoenix area to hire a Civil Engineer. You will contribute to planning, design, and execution of projects across land development, transportation, municipal infrastructure, water resources, and utilities.

The role offers exposure to technical design, project delivery, and client-facing responsibilities, with opportunities to work from concept through construction and grow within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Experience in a civil engineering consulting environment is preferred.
• Experience supporting land development, transportation, roadway, municipal, utility, water resources, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.
• Familiarity with design standards, permitting processes, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects across multiple market sectors.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, reports, calculations, and construction documents.
• Contribute to site development, roadway, transportation, utility, drainage, stormwater, water resources, and municipal infrastructure projects.
• Perform engineering analyses and design calculations.
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, regulatory agencies, contractors, architects, and stakeholders.
• Assist with permitting, agency coordination, and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Support project management activities including scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design tools.
• Participate in site visits, field investigations, and construction-phase support.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and development projects while gaining exposure to technical design, project delivery, and client-facing responsibilities.

The Civil Engineer will contribute to the planning, design, and execution of projects across a variety of civil engineering disciplines including land development, transportation, roadway design, municipal infrastructure, water resources, stormwater management, and utility improvements. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with multidisciplinary teams while supporting projects from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
• Experience within a civil engineering consulting environment preferred
• Experience supporting land development, transportation, roadway, municipal, utility, water resources, or infrastructure projects preferred
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
• Familiarity with engineering design standards, permitting processes, and regulatory requirements
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• EIT or PE license preferred
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities within a consulting environment
