We are seeking a Senior Engineer with 8+ years of Land Development experience to collaborate closely with the Office Lead in delivering high-quality services to our clients. This role is primarily remote, based out of Columbus, reporting to our Canton office. The Senior Engineer will oversee and manage the production of designs including site plans, grading plans, erosion controls, access roads, utility and storm drainage plans, general notes, specifications, and bid documents.

Responsibilities Include:

• Site layout and design
• Grading and earthwork calculations
• Stormwater management design and permitting
• Erosion and sedimentation control design and permitting
• Preparation and submission of local land development permits
• Quality assurance
• Mentoring and developing junior staff

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years in civil or utility-related engineering
• PE license preferred
• Expertise in site layout, grading, stormwater, and erosion control design
• Civil utility design experience
• Trenchless technology design skills
• Construction and constructability knowledge related to design drawings and field issues
• Foundation and geotechnical experience
• Experience in writing specifications
• Ability to mentor junior engineers is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
