TThompson Civil is seeking a full-time Engineer to work in our Civil Engineering Section. The preferred location for this position is within our Belleville, IL, and St. Louis, MO office.

Thompson Civil, is a civil engineering design & construction management firm, with offices in Illinois and Missouri, is currently seeking a full-time mid-level roadway design engineer. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Responsible for the development of engineering plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) and construction inspection services. Work as part of a team to complete general transportation engineering services for private, municipal, county and state agencies.Candidate will work with licensed engineers.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

EIT/FE Certification (PE License is preferred)

3 - 5+ years transportation engineering experience

Familiarity with DOT/AASHTO standards.

Provide good and effective written/verbal communication skills.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Working knowledge of MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

SALARY RANGE:

Starting Salary Range: $60,000 to $85,000, experience and skill dependent.

BENEFITS: Compensation and benefits dependent upon experience and qualifications.
