Civil Engineer – Roads & Highways

We are hiring a Civil Engineer to support the design of public infrastructure involving roadway projects!

• Work remotely 80% of the time, with a dedicated workstation in the office and flexible office visits

As a Civil Engineer, you’ll play a key role in planning and executing municipal and transportation projects. You’ll collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to deliver innovative infrastructure solutions.

What the Civil Engineer Will Do:

• Lead design efforts for municipal and transportation projects, both public and private
• Engage with clients, stakeholders, and public agencies to ensure project success
• Prepare reports, documentation, and project deliverables
• Maintain quality standards through QA/QC processes
• Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 2+ years of professional design experience in roadway and/or municipal projects
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Minnesota or on track to obtain it
• Experience with MicroStation ORD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or GEOPAK
• Familiarity with MnDOT, counties, and municipalities in Minnesota is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
