Job summary

Client in Brunswick, ME is seeking a Civil Engineer – Project Manager to lead site/civil engineering and land development projects from concept through design, permitting, and construction support.

The ideal candidate will manage client relationships, oversee technical design, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams on commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use development projects. Hybrid work arrangement in Brunswick, ME.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
• 4–8 years of site/civil engineering experience.
• Maine PE License preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (HydroCAD preferred).
• Experience with local and state permitting requirements.
• Experience with commercial and residential land development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites and attend public meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead site/civil engineering projects from concept through construction support.
• Prepare site layouts, grading, utility, and erosion & sediment control plans.
• Design stormwater management systems.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and contracts.
• Prepare permit applications and technical reports.
• Attend site visits, municipal meetings, and public hearings.
• Build strong relationships with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
• Support business development initiatives.
