Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Civil Engineer in Paoli, PA to work on land development projects with a private-sector focus. You will interpret SALDO and zoning regulations, design site layouts in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and prepare technical documentation and permits for regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–8 years of professional civil engineering experience.
• Land development experience, private sector preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D for site design.
• Experience with SALDO, zoning, floodplain concepts.
• Knowledge of PennDOT permitting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Interpret SALDO, zoning, floodplain, and stormwater ordinances for site development.
• Design site grading, layouts, roadways, and utilities using Civil 3D.
• Develop sanitary sewer and water system profiles and drawings.
• Prepare cost estimates and technical reports.
• Assist with stormwater and erosion controls for land development.
• Coordinate permit applications with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Support site inspections and respond to RFIs during construction.
• Submit as-built record plans after project completion.
• Contribute to site analyses and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary team members.
