Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced mid-level civil/environmental engineer to work in Cleveland, Ohio. This position focuses on Integrated Facility Closure, including environmental site assessments, remediation, and construction oversight for diverse industrial and power clients.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, 6+ years of relevant experience, and a Professional Engineer license. A hybrid work model is offered along with a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in environmental engineering.
• Professional Engineer license in the State of Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial environmental site assessments for industrial facilities.
• Oversee construction services for various industrial and power clients.
• Manage projects in site remediation and solid waste management.

Skills

Advanced knowledge in developing site/civil plans

Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience in stormwater management

Experience in solid waste management

Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering

Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
