Jordan Grant & Associates, a surveying and civil engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer – PE to join our Statesville, NC team. You will work alongside seasoned surveyors and engineers, contributing to the design of diverse projects and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to schedules, and independent problem solving, with opportunities for advancement and professional development within a supportive environment.

Competenze

• Fully licensed Civil Engineer (PE) credential.
• 3–5 years of experience with Carlson Software or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Survey or civil engineering CAD experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Prepare applications, reports and calculations to support design of retail centers, multi-family developments, schools, industrial sites, residential and mixed-use developments.
• Review and coordinate drawings from vendors, clients and architects.
• Research codes and collaborate with City, County and State officials.
• Travel may be required to attend meetings, project sites or other business functions.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.

Jordan Grant & Associates is a surveying and civil engineering company looking for a new Civil Engineer – PE to join our team.

What you will be doing

• Prepare applications, reports and calculations to support the design of retail centers, multi-family developments, schools, industrial sites, residential and mixed-use developments.
• Review and coordinate drawings supplied by vendors, clients and architects.
• Research codes and work with City, County and State officials.
• Travel may be required to attend meetings, project sites or other business-related functions.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.

What we are looking for

• Fully licensed Civil Engineer (PE).
• 3 to 5 years' experience with Carlson Software or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Survey or civil engineering CAD experience preferred but not required.
• Good interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team.
• Ability to adhere to strict construction schedules and deadlines.
• Ability to perform tasks and solve problems with a high degree of independence.
• Valid driver's license.
