Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Civil 3D.
• PE certification or ability to obtain within one year.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to work in locations with rough construction-site terrain.
• Ability to work with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Flexible working style and willingness to adjust schedule to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a project team.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams on civil engineering and related technical assignments.
• Design for power generation, mining, and industrial site development.
• Design buried utilities.
• Plan and manage projects.
• Perform civil design and analysis.
• Create CADD models.
• Prepare construction plans, specifications, and spreadsheets.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform site grading and layout.
• Complete hydrologic and hydraulic calculations.
• Write and support large reports.
• Prepare construction cost estimates.
• Support construction management and observation.
• Conduct facility inspections.
• Develop proposals, work scopes, deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
• Assist with project planning, coordination, and execution.
• Help ensure project milestones are met and provide updates to team members and clients.
• Support the growth and development of team members.
