MKEC Engineering in Wichita is seeking a Civil Engineer to assist with the design of civil-site, land development and municipal projects, including grading, drainage, water and public utilities, and City planning submittals.

Responsibilities include assisting the project manager, preparing calculations and reports, coordinating plan preparation with staff, and attending client meetings to ensure designs meet objectives. PE license in Kansas is preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering is required.
• 0–3+ years of land development/municipal engineering experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager in design for land development and municipal projects.
• Prepare calculations and reports for drainage, grading, paving, and water projects.
• Coordinate preparation of plans for grading, paving, drainage and utilities with production staff.
