We are currently seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer/Land Development to join our team in our Baltimore, MD office. This position will work directly with a mid-level or senior engineer mentor to assist in project implementation. Project-related efforts include site investigations and assessments, site master planning, conceptual and final design, securing regulatory agency permits and approvals, and supporting our clients during the bidding and construction phases of a project. Design efforts include using a variety of hydraulic and hydrologic analysis and modeling software programs, developing construction documentation using AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MicroStation, and 3rd party software, preparing application packages and securing permits/approvals from a wide range of regulatory agencies throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, and assisting in construction administration through reviewing shop drawings.

Requirements:

  • Must have a bachelor degree in civil engineering or other relevant degree from an ABET accredited program
  • 0-4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or GIS is desirable
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Engineer-in-Training certification

The expected compensation range for this position is $72,000.00 - $97,000.00 per year. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
