Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com) has been retained by a leading development organization to identify a highly skilled Civil Engineer to lead CAD design and technical engineering efforts for residential and mixed‑use land development projects throughout North Carolina. This role offers an opportunity to oversee complex projects, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and contribute to high‑quality community developments.
The Civil Engineer will lead and manage all aspects of civil site design, including underground utility planning (streets, sewer systems, water supply, and stormwater drainage), and rough/final grading, as well as hydraulic calculations. Responsible for supervising technical staff, coordinating with municipal agencies and external consultants, and ensuring project approval and delivery on schedule and within budget. The successful candidate will also maintain rigorous quality standards and oversee project documentation throughout the lifecycle.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and possess PE or EIT registration in North Carolina, with a commitment to full licensure if not already licensed. A minimum of five years of experience in civil site design, grading, underground utilities, and CAD work is required. Proficiency in Civil 3D, along with strong communication and leadership skills, is essential.
