Role Summary
As a Civil Engineer your role will be dynamic and multifaceted, including the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in residential, commercial, and/or industrial land development.
Responsibilities
- Site Plan Excellence: Draft preliminary and final site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.
- Data Analysis: Review project survey data to assess existing site conditions, including legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.
- Comprehensive Reporting: Prepare a variety of reports, opinions, and recommendations; including hydrology/hydraulic studies, due diligence reports, cost opinions, project schedules, utility and detention calculations, storm sewer reports, permits, soils reports, earthwork volume calculations, StormCAD, WaterCAD, and preliminary grading.
- Construction Support: Provide construction‑related services such as permit applications, cut sheets, quantity estimates, and transmittals; organize site plans, construction plans, and documentation under senior staff guidance.
- Engineering Software: Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software packages to complete assignments efficiently and in accordance with established standards.
- Effective Communication: Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills when collaborating with staff, ensuring seamless project coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD preferred.
Pay Range
$75,000 – $126,000 USD annually.
