THE ROLE

As a Civil Engineering Intern, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals on meaningful projects that shape communities. You’ll gain hands‑on exposure to planning, design, and construction activities—building practical skills, confidence, and a clearer vision for your future in civil engineering. Morrison-Maierle provides civil engineering design and consulting for projects related to transportation, airports, industrial, municipal infrastructures, water, land development, environmental, survey, planning, CAD, and buildings focused on structural, mechanical, electrical and information communication technology.

These responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with design teams to support project tasks.
• Provide support with construction observation and site inspections to understand how design work comes together.
• Build knowledge of construction engineering and how it integrates with design and consulting practices.
• Develop a solid understanding of civil engineering principles within a consulting engineering environment.
