The internship involves design, drafting, and documentation tasks while applying basic engineering principles and standards, with a focus on safety and quality. Mentorship and growth opportunities are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 1 year of study completed.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and basic CAD drafting experience (Civil 3D preferred).

Responsibilities

• Acquire knowledge through mentoring and self-directed learning.
• Prepare engineering calculations, design elements, basic drafting and technical analyses under supervision.
• Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, reports, and other project documentation.
• Use basic CAD drafting skills (Civil 3D preferred) and office software proficiently.
• Apply established design methods, applicable codes, standards, and procedures.
• Support the team in delivering estimates of time to complete tasks and communicate delays.
• Maintain professionalism, safety, and compliance with company standards.
• Seek guidance from senior engineers and apply feedback to improve performance.

Summary

The Civil Engineer Intern is responsible for developing foundational engineering knowledge and skills through mentorship and hands‑on project support. The Civil Engineer Intern contributes to design, drafting, and documentation efforts while applying basic engineering principles and standards. This role supports team objectives while promoting professional growth, strong communication, and adherence to safety and quality expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform work in accordance with company standards, safety policies, and ethical guidelines.
• Seek guidance and mentoring from senior engineers and apply feedback to improve performance.
• Perform additional duties as directed to meet project and company goals.
• Maintain professionalism, safety, and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field from an accredited program.
• Must have completed at least 1 year of study.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Basic CAD drafting experience: (Civil 3D preferred).
