Job summary

Paradigm Design in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Civil Engineer, EIT to provide engineering, drafting, and construction administration support from concept through construction phase under licensed PEs and PMs. The position offers growth toward PE licensure and exposure to land development projects, site grading, drainage, and utilities while using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
Five or more years of civil engineering experience.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering design-aided programs.
Proficiency with Microsoft programs and Bluebeam; valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

Prepare engineering drawings, plans, specifications, and technical construction documents for land development and civil engineering projects.
Assist with the design and drafting of site development improvements including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways.
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare plans, layouts, profiles, models, and supporting documentation.
Perform engineering calculations and prepare technical documentation under a licensed Professional Engineer.
Coordinate project information with internal teams, consultants, municipalities, utilities, and permitting agencies.
