Devco Engineering Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our Corvallis civil engineering team.

This role offers hands-on experience supporting planning, design, and permitting of residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects under licensed Professional Engineers. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate or early-career engineer who thrives in a collaborative, small-firm environment and is eager to develop foundational skills in site grading, stormwater design,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or graduating soon).
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and layout of civil engineering projects, including site grading, stormwater management, utilities, and roadways.
• Prepare engineering calculations, exhibits, and technical reports.
• Develop and revise construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Assist with permitting and coordination with local jurisdictions and agencies.
• Support construction administration activities including submittal review, RFIs, and site visits.
• Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to meet project schedules and budgets.
