Job summary

Ripple Effect Consulting LLC in Reno, NV is seeking a Project Engineer to support land development site projects, including grading, drainage, and utility design. You will perform calculations, prepare plans and permit documents, and coordinate with clients and agencies.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 3+ years of related experience, and either an EIT or PE pursuit. A hybrid work schedule is possible, with strong emphasis on quality design and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3+ years of civil engineering experience in land development.
• EIT required or PE pursued preferred.
• Experience with site grading, drainage, stormwater and utility design.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with hydrology/hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS/StormCAD/PCSWMM).
• Ability to read and prepare construction plans and technical reports.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil engineering designs for land development projects.
• Develop grading, drainage, utility, and stormwater plans.
• Perform engineering calculations and technical analyses.
• Prepare construction plans, specifications, reports, and permit documents.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and internal project teams.
• Review plans and technical documents for quality and accuracy.
• Conduct occasional site visits and field investigations.
• Assist in resolving design and construction issues.
