Responsibilities

• Civil/site engineering and design for various projects including government buildings, recreational facilities, roadways, parking lots, and laboratory facilities.
• Perform surveying, mapping, drainage calculations, and related civil engineering tasks.
• Develop facility design criteria and specifications.
• Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Support construction phases and project cost estimations.
• Assist project managers during construction, remodeling, and repairs.
• Coordinate work under the guidance of the Design Team Lead.
• Progress towards leading design projects involving multiple disciplines.
• Interact effectively with government clients and support engineering activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 3-5 years of civil engineering design experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.
• Knowledge of IBC requirements.
• Experience managing design projects through development and construction phases.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and related software is highly desirable.
