Barge Design Solutions seeks a Civil Engineering Associate or Civil Engineer to join our Civil Engineering Site Solutions team in Huntsville, Alabama. You will work with engineers on project documents, assisting with technical tasks and contributing to infrastructure project delivery.

This entry-level role provides mentorship, hands-on experience, and exposure to real-world engineering projects, helping you grow while delivering quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited program.
• EI registration with ability to obtain PE within 12 months or licensed Professional Engineer.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Civil3D and other essential equipment for field and office work.
• Timeliness & Quality of work and budget adherence.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, permits, and designs for project.
• Assists in the analysis of reports, maps, drawings, and tests, in order to plan and design projects
• Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
• Accompany Engineers to site visits as needed.
• Performs other duties as requested.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Engineer Intern (EI) registration with ability to obtain PE within 12 months or licensed Professional Engineer
