Barge Design Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Associate or Civil Engineer to join our Civil Engineering Site Solutions team in Huntsville, AL.

You will work closely with engineers to support the development and design of project documents, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship on infrastructure projects. This early-career role emphasizes practical task execution, site visits, and collaboration across disciplines, with growth opportunities toward Professional Engineer licensure

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required.
Engineer Intern (EI) registration with ability to obtain PE within 12 months or licensed Professional Engineer.
Knowledge of Autodesk Civil3D and other essential equipment for field and office work.
Timeliness & Quality of work and budget adherence.

Responsibilities

Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, permits, and designs for project.
Assists in the analysis of reports, maps, drawings, and tests, in order to plan and design projects
Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
Accompany Engineers to site visits as needed.
Performs other duties as requested.
