Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineer - Entry Level (May 2025) in our St. Louis, MO office with a target start date in May 2025. In this role, you will work with local municipalities and other clients alongside our experienced engineers to plan, design and manage a variety of projects including commercial, industrial, municipal, water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure.


A typical day of a Civil Engineer at Farnsworth Group:



  • Site/layout design for a wide range of markets/project types

  • Storm water management and collection system layout and design

  • Collaborate with other Farnsworth Group disciplines

  • Organize and perform projects from inception to completion

  • Construction observation / resident engineering

  • Environmental Assessments and Sampling

  • Permit Review/Compliance

  • Communication with Clients and attend Council and/or Board Meetings



Specific Requirements include:


  • BS in Civil Engineering

  • 0-2 years of engineering experience

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Civil3D a plus

  • Proficiency or willingness to learn modeling (WaterCAD, SewerCAD, InfoWorks)
