Lamp Rynearson is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer to join our Design Group in Omaha, Nebraska. The role focuses on providing civil engineering services for land development projects, including residential and commercial developments, educational and sport facilities, and municipal infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to support project planning and design.
• Perform engineering calculations and assist with stormwater, drainage, and utility analyses.
• Prepare reports, exhibits, cost estimates, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, project managers, and clients to support successful project delivery.
• Participate in field visits and site observations as needed.
• Gain experience with municipal standards, permitting requirements, and design practices.
• Contribute to project solutions while receiving mentorship and guidance from senior staff.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to support project planning and design.
• Perform engineering calculations and assist with stormwater, drainage, and utility analyses.
• Prepare reports, exhibits, cost estimates, and other project documentation.
