Job summary

SEH in Minnesota is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our employee-owned Civil team. You will contribute to transportation, municipal, and site development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop roadway, trail, sidewalk designs and utility systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, optional EIT, willingness to travel, and strong communication. You will collaborate in-office and help prepare construction plans and reports while coordinating with project managers and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
• Ability to collaborate in-office.
• Ability to travel as needed for meetings, client consultations, and site visits.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, and delivery of transportation, municipal, and site development projects.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop designs for roadways, trails, sidewalks, utility systems, and site improvements.
• Prepare construction plans, specifications, quantity calculations, cost estimates, and technical reports for public and private infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to support successful project delivery.
• Perform site visits, field reviews, and construction observation activities as needed.
• Manage assigned project tasks and communicate progress to project teams and supervisors.
