The role involves grading and drainage, stormwater systems, complete streets, active transportation facilities, and water/sewer infrastructure, with focus on technical design and permitting in a collaborative growth-focused team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Engineer in Training certification.
• 1+ years of relevant civil engineering experience is a plus.
• Experience with municipal, commercial, or residential infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with design-bid-build, permitting, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research related to engineering policies and practices.
• Perform calculations to support planning and design objectives.
• Prepare engineering reports.
• Develop descriptive charts, figures/maps, and tables.
• Support design analysis through quantitative and qualitative evaluation.
• Prepare and draft construction documents (plans and specs).
• Assist with cost-benefit analysis.
• Perform field work or construction observation.
• Prepare permit applications and support materials.
