The candidate will prepare BODs, PS&E, and supporting reports under project managers, serving diverse clients including METRO rail and public agencies.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program required.
• 3–5 years civil engineering experience.
• EIT license in California preferred.
• Experience with DoD agencies is a plus.
• Proficiency in MicroStation InRoads is essential.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam is advantageous.

Job Summary

Its market segment focus includes DOD and Federal Programs, Regional Transportation, Municipalities, Utility Agencies, Port Authorities, Rail and Transit, Educational Institutions, Medical Facilities, and Private Developers. Their experienced professionals work collaboratively to provide engineering services that include Civil, Water/Wastewater, Structural, and Construction Support. They are looking to hire an experienced Civil Engineer to join their team of managers, engineers, and designers, representing the industry's top talent in Pasadena, CA.

Note: Experience with MicroStation InRoads is a mandatory requirement for this position. Candidates without MicroStation InRoads experience will not be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities

The position performs general civil engineering work under the direct supervision of a project manager for clients the company serves in various markets. The position will apply fundamental engineering training, knowledge, and experience to deliver all tasks and all different project types including engineering studies and site investigation reports; land development designs; preparation of Basis of Design (BOD); preparation of fully designed plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E), and other engineering reports, cost estimates, and construction support. Typical clients served include Municipalities, Dod agencies, private developers, and other public and private organizations.

Proficiency in MicroStation InRoads is critical for performing these duties. Experience using InRoads for civil site design, roadway geometry, grading, utilities, and rail/transit infrastructure projects—particularly for METRO rail and underground station projects—is essential.

Qualifications

Team leadership Preferred Knowledge of public works and DoD agency processes Strong proficiency in MicroStation InRoads is required Additional software skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam Excellent writing and communication skills Ability to prepare engineering reports with the guidance of a project manager or senior individual.

Education & Experiences

A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited college (ABET) is required. Minimum of 3-5 years of civil engineering experience EIT License (in California), preferred Experience working with DoD agencies like the Navy will be considered a plus.
