Ardurra Group is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer (EIT) to support our Land Development team in Boise Meridian, ID. You will assist design and delivery of site development projects while pursuing PE licensure.

The role emphasizes collaboration with project engineers and managers, developing technical skills, and applying hydrology/hydraulics tools in a hands-on environment onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• 0–3+ years of civil engineering experience, preferably land development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiarity with hydrology/hydraulics software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design, and analysis of land development projects (grading, drainage, utilities, roadway design).
• Prepare drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for stormwater systems.
• Support drainage, utility reports, and permitting documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.
• Assist with site visits, construction administration, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates.

Job description

Ardurra is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer (EIT) to join our growing Land Development team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of public and private development projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will support project engineers and project managers in the design and delivery of site development and infrastructure projects while continuing to build technical and professional skills toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure. This position is onsite in the suburb of Boise - Meridian, ID.

Primary Duties:

• Assist in the planning, design, and analysis of land development projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design
• Prepare engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for stormwater management systems
• Support the preparation of drainage reports, utility reports, and permitting documentation
• Coordinate with internal team members, clients, and regulatory agencies
• Conduct site visits and assist with construction administration activities as needed
• Assist with quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and technical reports
• Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal standards and regulations
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions
