Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Civil Engineer to contribute to ecosystem restoration projects from day one. You will work with experienced engineers to design stream, wetland, and floodplain restoration efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Master's degree is a plus.
• Engineering in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• 1+ years of professional engineering experience or Internship preferred.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS or Storm Sewers is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Build practical engineering skills in grading, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, permitting, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling.
• Help design ecological restoration projects reconnecting streams to floodplains and restoring wetlands.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Engage in field investigations, drone site assessments, and regulatory permitting to see designs come to life.
