Civil Engineer

Location: Detroit, MI - JOB 25-01084

Salary Range: $120k - $130k

Position Type: Permanent with Benefits

Detroit, Michigan area company is seeking an experienced Professional Civil Engineer to design Water and Wastewater processing systems and facilities.

Requirements

1. B.S. in Civil Engineering
2. P.E. License in the state of Michigan required
3. 7+ years' experience in Municipal Water and Wastewater Collection and Treatment Systems facilities design
4. Hydraulic modeling and project management experience
5. Ability to design and calculate hydraulic flow, pipe, pump, & valve sizing
6. Design and review new facilities for upgrading water and wastewater infrastructures
7. Attention to detail, strong leadership, multitasking, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills
8. Identify water/wastewater issues and develop engineering solutions for pump stations and storm systems
9. Experience in field testing, hydraulic modeling, transmission and distribution main design, booster pump station design, and water treatment plant design
