Civil Engineer – Designer – Engineer in Training – Water/Wastewater

Our services include Civil, Environmental, Structural, Marine Engineering, Land Surveying, Land Planning, Landscape Architecture, GIS, and Construction Administration.

We are seeking a motivated Environmental Designer to join our Water/Wastewater Department in Buford, GA. The candidate should be able to create civil engineering drawings in Civil 3D, prepare specifications, cost estimates, and WaterCAD modeling. Proficiency in water and sewer utility, drainage, and erosion control design is required. Experience in design & permitting for water and sewer projects, along with client/contractor relationship experience, is a plus.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years of strong AutoCAD-based design skills. Experience in municipal water and sewer system design is preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. EIT certification or ability to obtain EIT certification within 6 months is required.

Skills:

• AutoCAD, WaterCAD, and Civil 3D software applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a schedule of 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM Mon-Thurs and 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM Fri; occasional evenings and weekends. This is a fully on-site position.
• Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and complete tasks efficiently.
• Highly client-service oriented, self-starter, team player.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
