DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will provide expert recommendations on cost-effective technologies, applying engineering principles to ensure public safety, structural integrity, and the durability of bridges across District 6-0. Responsibilities include developing bridge asset management strategies for structures in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties, and reviewing submissions for projects like Interstate 95.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch
• Telework: Opportunity for part-time telework (up to 5 days per pay period) with a secure high-speed internet connection and an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If unable to telework, reporting to the King of Prussia office is an option.
• This position is eligible for an alternate work schedule (AWS)
• Salary: Starting salary may be non-negotiable in some cases

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Qualifications:

• Four years of professional civil engineering experience, including three years in the relevant specialty

Special Requirement:

• Valid Professional Engineer license issued by the Pennsylvania State Registration Board

Post-Employment Requirement:

• Out-of-state PE license holders must obtain a Pennsylvania license within six months

Other Requirements:

• PA residency requirement is waived for this title
• You must be able to perform essential job functions
