Job summary

raSmith is seeking a Civil Engineer for the Construction Services Division to contribute to a variety of projects nationwide from Wisconsin offices. The role emphasizes field inspection, testing, and data reporting, with design document preparation under PM guidance.

The firm highlights its Top Workplace ranking and growth across multiple states. The candidate should hold a BS in Civil Engineering, have 1–5+ years in construction design and inspection, and preferably be proficient in AutoCAD

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from a U.S. accredited college or university.
• 1–5+ years of progressive experience in construction design and inspection.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D software is highly preferred.
• Applicable U.S. based work experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspection and testing to check performance or conformity for reporting or study requirements.
• Prepare, maintain and report statistical, technical and analytical engineering data.
• Prepare and adapt design documents including drawings and specifications under the direction of the Project Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Civil Engineer- Construction Services Division – Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from a U.S. accredited college or university.
• Candidates will also have one (1) to five (5) years or more of progressive experience in construction design-based engineering and construction inspection.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D software is also highly preferred.
• Applicable U.S. based work experience.
