Job summary

Klingner & Associates, P.C. in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Site Development Department.

You will help develop, review, and manage designs for residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal projects across Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa, collaborating with engineers, surveyors, and landscape architects to deliver safe, sustainable infrastructure. Requirements include 2–5+ years in site development, a BS in Civil Engineering, and an EIT with PElicensure on track.

Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years of demonstrated experience in site development engineering.
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Must hold at least an EIT and be on track and pursuing a Professional Engineer license.
  • Must have excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. An understanding of Revit is a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple complex projects and tasks concurrently, and a commitment to meeting deadlines and keeping projects within budget is required.
  • Clear written and verbal communication is a must.
  • Understanding of and experience in applying regulatory agency laws, ordinances, and regulations for Municipal, County, State, and Federal agency permitting submittals, is a plus.
  • Experience in writing or assisting in preparing reports and studies, scopes of work, and proposals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to hold strong business relationships with clients.
  • A drive to create high-quality designs, strong sense of commitment, willingness to learn, and desire to work in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Assist with construction oversight and administration, as needed.
  • Travel occasionally to support project-related inspections, meetings, etc.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO | Klingner & Associates, P.C. is seeking a Civil Engineer to be part of our Site Development Department.Make a positive impact as a Klingner Civil Engineer in our Site Development Department. This specialized group develops and redevelops residential, commercial, and industrial properties as well as municipal infrastructure to enhance client outcomes in communities throughout Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa. As part of our team, you’ll work alongside engineers, surveyors, and landscape architects who are passionate about safety and sustainability; spearhead innovative projects that shape infrastructure; engage diverse stakeholders; and unlock numerous opportunities for advancement and professional development.

Salary Range: $30-$44

Salaries may vary based on experience and qualifications. The listed ranges are typical.
