Job summary

Royal in Louisiana is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer Associate to join our multidisciplinary team. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in design, project management, and client communications.

You will assist in preparing reports, plans, permits, schedules, and construction calculations while supporting quality control and safety standards on active projects. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, FE exam within three months of hire, valid driver’s license, and no prior experience

About Us

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer Associate to join our multidisciplinary team in Louisiana. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in engineering design and project management. You’ll assist in preparing reports, specifications, plans, permit applications, and construction schedules, while supporting client communications and contributing to quality control efforts.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide general, entry-level support to the engineering department.

• Ensure compliance with applicable company and client quality requirements in all assigned programs, functions, and areas.
• Prepare design plans and specifications for projects.
• Evaluates the physical conditions of the worksite to aid in design plans.

• Use of CAD and other design software to develop design documents.

Here’s What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or other relevant disciplines.
• Candidate must be willing to take and pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam within three months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license
• No experience required.

Supervision

Work requires the occasional direction of helpers, assistants, seasonal employees, interns, or temporary employees.
