Job summary

RESPEC, an internationally recognized engineering consulting company, seeks a Civil Engineer (Professional Engineer) to join our Fairbanks, Anchorage, Palmer, Soldotna, and Juneau offices in Alaska. The role involves hands-on design and project management for a diverse mix of public and private sector projects in our Transportation Market Sector.

Qualifications

B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
Alaska Professional Engineering License, or ability to obtain within 1 year.
5 - 15 years of experience; 5+ years of cold regions experience preferred.
Autodesk AutoCAD & Civil 3D proficiency.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
Self-motivated, energetic, and able to take on new tasks.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
Able to manage teams and contracts on multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

Designs and manages a variety of projects in RESPEC’s Transportation Market Sector across AK offices.
Lead multidiscipline design and construction efforts for public and private clients.
Grow professionally while gaining experience on a wide range of projects.
Ensure projects meet deadlines and comply with applicable standards.
