Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Civil Engineer to design grading, earthwork, erosion control, stormwater systems and pavement for residential and commercial site development projects. You will prepare related analyses and calculations while supporting project management through scheduling, budgeting, and design reviews.

Field inspections may be conducted as needed. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, plus five years of site development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Five+ years of residential and commercial site development experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D required.
• PE license or ability to obtain one within a year.

Responsibilities

• Use Civil 3D to design grading, earthwork, erosion control, stormwater systems and pavement for site development projects; prepare related analyses and calculations.

Job description

Use Civil 3D to design grading, earthwork, erosion control, stormwater systems, and pavement for residential and commercial site development projects, and prepare related engineering analyses and calculations. Support project management through scheduling, budgeting, and design reviews, and conduct field inspections as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

• At least five years of residential and commercial site development experience, including land development and stormwater analysis and design
• Strong written and oral communication skills
