Renaissance Personnel Group is seeking a Civil Engineer for commercial land development in Tempe, AZ. You will contribute from planning through construction on high-profile projects for the Valley's leading developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or higher.
• Recent graduates, EITs, and licensed PEs are encouraged to apply.
• Commercial/land development experience preferred; other civil backgrounds considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil site plans for mixed-use, retail, multifamily, industrial, office, and hospitality developments.
• Design grading, drainage and on-site stormwater retention; prepare drainage reports.
• Design water, sewer, and dry utility systems; plus paving, parking and site access.
• Prepare submittals and coordinate with municipalities through permitting.
• Support projects through construction phase.
• Work in Civil 3D or learn on the job with mentors.

Civil Engineer: Commercial Land Development

Join a well-established Phoenix civil engineering firm that has been the go-to civil partner for the Valley's leading commercial developers for more than 20 years. This boutique firm is known as a best-in-class partner on complex, large-scale projects, engaged from early planning and due diligence through construction completion, across retail, hospitality, office, industrial, mixed-use, and multifamily developments. With a strong pipeline and a major new project starting now, the firm is adding to its small, close-knit team and is open to every experience level, from recent graduate to licensed PE.

What You'll Do

• Prepare civil site plans for mixed-use, retail, multifamily, industrial, office, and hospitality developments
• Design grading, drainage, and on-site stormwater retention, and prepare drainage reports
• Design water, sewer, and dry utility systems, along with paving, parking, and site access
• Prepare submittals and coordinate with municipalities and agencies through permitting
• Support projects through construction
• Work in Civil 3D, or build proficiency on the job with experienced mentors

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; recent graduates, EITs, and licensed PEs are all encouraged to apply
• Commercial or land development experience preferred; single-family and other civil backgrounds considered
• Civil 3D experience is a plus, but candidates working in 2D or eager to learn are welcome
• A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive on deadlines
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
