Civil Project Engineer – Land Development (Charlotte, NC)

We’re working with a well-established civil engineering firm that is seeking a skilled Civil Project Engineer to join their Land Development team in Charlotte, NC. This role offers the best of both worlds: the collaborative, team-oriented feel of a medium sized office, with the stability and resources of a 500+ employee national firm.

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with Project Managers to support and lead site design and permitting efforts
• Design and prepare construction documents for commercial, institutional, and healthcare-related land development projects
• Collaborate with local agencies and municipalities to secure necessary permits
• Prepare engineering reports, calculations, and site layouts
• Attend client meetings and contribute to design charrettes and strategy sessions
• Oversee aspects of construction administration and coordination

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)
• 4+ years of experience in civil site design/land development
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• PE license preferred, or EIT on the path to licensure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-driven environment with opportunities to take on project leadership
