Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking a Civil Engineer Project Consultant in our St.

Charles, MO office to help create land development plans for commercial, institutional, and residential clients. You will design site layouts, grading plans, stormwater facilities, water quality practices, and utilities from concept through regulatory review, bidding, and construction to the grand opening.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of experience; internship preferred.
• EIT or FE certification preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with commercial real estate site design a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop land development plans for commercial, institutional, and residential clients.
• Design site layouts, grading plans, storm water facilities, and utilities.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and government officials.
• Contribute through design phases, regulatory review, bidding, and construction.
• Support project teams from concept to grand opening.

Overview

As a Civil Engineer Project Consultant for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), in our St. Charles, MO, office, you’ll work with project teams to create land development plans for our commercial, institutional, and residential clients. From an urban redevelopment site, industrial sites, to a new school project, you’ll take part in designing site layouts, grading plans, storm water management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities. Interacting with clients, contractors, local government officials, you’ll impact the whole project - from conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related technical field
• 1+ years' of experience
• Previous internship preferred
• Engineering in Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats
• Experience and knowledge of commercial real estate site design is a plus
